Luxurious and super comfy cotton pajamas in vibrant colors and feminine designs, that’s what BedHead Pajamas is famous for. And, even if you haven’t worn any of their PJs, you have almost certainly come across one of their sleepwear designs on world-renowned movies and TV shows, such as Sex And The City, Grey’s Anatomy, How I Met Your Mother, Glee, and many more.
Your favorite stars don’t just wear BedHead designs when appearing in movies. Jennifer Aniston, Katherine Heigl and Kate Hudson also love to wear the design-driven loungewear when at home.
How the Success Story Began
The BedHead Pajama prints are designed by Renee Claire, owner and and founder of BedHead Pajamas. Renee grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada, where she spent time in the winter sewing clothes for herself in the basement, dreaming of being a clothing designer and hoping to live the California lifestyle she’d seen in photographs and on television.
After college, Renee decided to head to Los Angeles where she waited on tables in restaurants by night, designing her dress and outwear collection by day. One day she saw a pair of pajamas in the window of a local boutique and thought, ”I could top that!” As a consequence, BedHead was born!
Within three years the company was producing over 50,000 pairs of pajamas, all locally cut and sewn, culminating today in over 70 jobs. The collection is designed in-house by Renee each season and made in the USA.
